One More Steep is Back!

I took an unexpected hiatus from tea blogging when I was moving (also a little bit unexpected, it all happened very quickly!). Since the last review (at the beginning of July!), I packed up my life, moved, and unpacked most of my life. Part of the problem was with the move is that my new place has one of those fancy glass top stoves and you’re only supposed to use flat bottom things on it, which meant that the old fashioned tea kettle was a no-no. I have since solved that problem by getting a (fancy) electric variable temperature kettle – I will have a review of that up shortly! In the mean time, my first review since Oh Canada! will be up tomorrow and one of my favourite spots in my new place is my tea cart because tea.

Free Tea for Nurses!

It’s no secret that I’m a fan of DavidsTea – I’ve reviewed so many of their teas here on One More Steep! When I’m not reviewing teas at home and collecting new teaware, I’m also a registered nurse. This week is Nurses Week and today is International Nurses Day (which is Florence Nightingale’s birthday). DavidsTea is helping to celebrate nurses with a free tea – you just need to show something that proves you’re a nurse! When I was a student nurse, I was able to show my student nurse badge to get the free tea.

As per DavidsTea on their Facebook page, this offer is good for RNs, LPNs, care aides, and nursing students.

What tea do you think I should try?

I love getting tea suggestions! I’m very open to trying out what is your favourite tea, and I welcome suggestions either through the comments below or via the suggestions form. I generally like black, green, white, and oolong teas. I’m open to trying pu’erh, herbal infusions, and rooibos if you think I might like them!

If you’re going to leave a suggestion, it really does help if I’m able to purchase the tea in Canada or have it shipped to Canada.
